If you could make a million dollars a year doing anything, what would it be?

The only stipulation is that it has to be considered a real job. For example, my ideal job would be to get paid $10 each time I kiss my wife. However, that's not a real job.

Which is a shame because I'd be filthy rich.

My ideal job would be to get paid to blog/write - mainly about tech news and products. Sort of as a quasi-journalist/columnist.

What would you do? Leave word in the comments.

  1. Dave, great question. My ideal working environment to earn a million a year would be to write and take pictures. That's it. Very simple but very rewarding.

  2. I would be an outdoor trail guide in someplace cool like Yellowstone or maybe someplace tropical. The kind of guide that takes people on week long trips. I think that's what I would be doing anyway, if I hadn't gotten married.
Rob said he would teach college, which is what he's gonna do anyway.

  4. does being a stay at home mom count? If so--I'd do that. If not...I would love to write a column in a magazine or newspaper. All freelance from home.

  7. I would continue to do the work I dedicated myself too when as was 19 years old with great hope and trust in what my future was gonna be. It turned out to be my worst nightmare and what a overwhelming source of resentment now it became because it is not enough that i get 0 money from it try having to pay everytime i am doing it (photocopies for the performers my own ink etc.) you want to laugh ? Every year I recieve a cheque of about $6.27 not even seven dollars from my "performing rights". I am a composer of contemporary concert music. My "dam...." vocation got as far as making me homeless for 18 months couldn't eat the mission's disgusting food I prefered stealing the bird's bread. I must be crazy to still play music because I hate her (music) so much for being such a b____ch. So yes I would be a composer.

  8. I would enjoy being a personal companion to anyone in need of having the company of someone who is selfless, highly intelligent, and close to the Source of all there is now, was or will ever be. The gifts I can bestow upon another far exceed what is anything commonly known by mankind, given the other person's ability to free their mind and open up to new realms of thought and being
