Feedburnin' baby!

I subscribed to Feedburner, so if you've subscribed to the blog via RSS in the past, please take a second or two to resubscribe with the new feed URL.

Much love,

Dave

  1. I'm confused. I didn't resubscribe, but my RSS feed still works. And what is Feed burn anyway?

  2. Feedburner is a service (recently acquired by Google) that gives you a bunch of tools to use with your RSS feed. I've used it for about a year and it's actually very nice. They have tools for tracking data, who subscribes, inserting ads (if you want to make money off your feed), publicizing the blog/feed, etc. Feedburner basically uses the feed you already have and publishes a new one that it can track. So the old one will still work, but the new one is probably better to use because Dave can adjust it and make it look better and include more rich media content. I don't see a button or link to his new feed, but I tracked it down. The link is here.

  3. Peter - You're a champ. Thanks. I believe Blogger said they would forward my existing feed...but since I have a weird URL setup maybe I need to have a separate link in the sidebar...

  4. By the way, I already like the Feedburner feed. Your images and other embedded stuff comes through on the feed now. Nice!
